About the author
After graduating from Syracuse University's Newhouse School of Communications Scott decided to enter the family business where he learned a ton about marketing and accumulated a great deal of experience in video and multimedia production. He also learned a fair bit about the importance of an office with a door that locks and a pair of windows overlooking a roof. "Happiness is a handy escape route," he can often be heard saying.

Having done a fair bit of global traveling over the years, including living in Los Angeles, Philadelphia and upstate New York, Scott expanded the palette of his imagination, incorporating a larger resource of scenery, rhythm and language to his ideas and increasing his understanding of the human condition. And he learned for himself what we've always been told: we’re all essentially the same, yet different in some of the most horrific delightful and interesting ways.

Today, Scott lives at the New Jersey shore with thousands of tourists during the summer months, and looks forward to when they roll up the sidewalks in winter. Nothing quite like a howling nor' easter in a mostly empty town to inspire a great story.
